James Ryan
2000 — 2024

In loving memory of James Ryan

October 19, 2000 to November 26, 2024

“I love you as how much people we got in this world and how much rocks we’ve got in the driveway.”

James loved science, dinosaurs, and learning about genealogy, his family and how everyone is related. He was loving, creative, curious and talented.

James always loved to wear a jacket, as pictured below on his first-grade school photo. This jacket was gifted by his sister, and he adored it almost as much as he adored his sister.

At the age of 7 ½, James wrote a song. He made his parents proud every day. The following quote was included by his mother in a beautiful scrapbook she kept of James.

“Follow your passion,

It’s something you can’t stop.

It’s best to follow them,

It’s your dream.

Don’t stop your dreams in their tracks.

If you don’t have dreams, that’s OK.

Maybe you’ll find them someday.”

“A mother’s heart is a special place where a child always has a home.”

“To the world you may just be one person. But to one person you may just be the world.”

Morning snuggles with his father was one of his favorite things, as well as family traditions like baking cookies during the holiday season, annual camping trips, and fishing.

One of James’ favorite movies was The Wizard of Oz and he dressed up as the Tin Man for Halloween one year.

James lives on in the hearts of the those who loved and cared for him, and his legacy continues through the precious gift to Autism BrainNet.
